This is a test

This is a test for uploading and changing a CC file.

This test was done in Safari & since you are not limited to selecting a CC file, I chose to upload the same Video file for both the Video Upload AND for the CC Upload.

After I hit the Save button, it began processing the video. It showed an "Uploading Video" pop-up and then that pop-up closed & a second pop-up displayed "Uh-oh! You can only upload a closed captioning file(vtt). [with an OK button]

Clicking the OK allowed the file to upload; however, it also displayed a "CC" toggle within the video player, even though there is no CC file.

If you simply upload a Video file & don't add any CC file, then the "CC" toggle doesn't appear within the video player.

This was uploaded on a Mac, using Safari 11.0.3 (12604.5.6.1.1)

NOTE: The upload for a Video only allows "Video files" but the upload for the CC file allows you to select any type of file (Safari issue).

These files were uploaded on a Mac using Firefox 58.0.1 (64-bit)

This has an updated CC file (completely CC all the way through), but it is still named the same file name that I used in Test 7.
